Walk Like An Egyptian

Wendy and I have been excited about Shahira and Karim’s wedding since we shot their engagement session a couple of months ago.  They chose the beautiful Hotel Laguna in Laguna Beach for their special day.  

We felt a great connection when we first met Shahira and heard their story.  Like us, Shahira and Karim were already officially married but still wanted to celebrate this monumental event.   Friends and family from Egypt, Australia, and everywhere in-between came to share their happiness and celebrate the marriage.

We were so happy they chose to do the ‘First Look’!  The first time when the groom sees the bride in her wedding gown is such a precious moment!  More often than not, Wendy ends up tearing up with the bride and groom.  

If you thought they looked great in their engagement session, they looked even more stunning on their wedding day!  Shahira glowed in her beautiful wedding gown and Karim was ever so  handsome in his tux!  

We absolutely enjoyed meeting everyone who welcomed us like a member of the family!  There were a lot of laughters with some silliness.  

The party was in full swing all night.  They even hired a Belly Dancer.  

We were so honored to have been part of Shahira and Karim’s special day.  Our best wishes to the beautiful couple and we can’t wait to see them again for their annual family portrait.
