A very important date!

All in the golden afternoon
Full leisurely we glide;
For both our oars, with little skill,
By little arms are plied,
While little hands make vain pretense
Our wanderings to guide.

Alice wasn’t late, she was actually a week early. When Alice’s mom, Judy, called I assumed she was just following up on her maternity session we had just photographed 2 weeks earlier.

Me: “Hi Judy, so are you ready to pop?”

     Judy: “I already did.”

     Me: “!”

After that surprise and a happy congratulations we set up a time for Alice’s coming out photo session.

With a name like Alice, it is only fitting that she be born in the year of the rabbit. Alice was very ready to come out of tummyland at over 8 pounds 8 ounces with full head of hair.

She is one of the cutest babies we’ve ever seen.  Wendy LOVES baby girls and was Ga-Ga-Goo-Goo all over her.  I think she wanted to take her home if she could.  She couldn’t stop talking about how precious and beautiful Alice was on the way home!  I couldn’t agree more!

Wendy & I had a great time meeting Alice. She is so lucky to have such a loving parents.  Congratulations to Judy and Dang for your new addition to the family!  We know little Princess Alice is going to bring much joy and laughter to your family!

Alice! a childish story take,
And with a gentle hand
Lay it where Childhood’s dreams are twined
In Memory’s mystic band,
Like pilgrim’s withered wreath of flowers
Plucked in a far-off land.
