USB Memory Direct

I’ve been using flash drives for several years and even remember thinking 256mb of memory was a big size. Today 8gb is fairly standard and with their size increasing and pricing getting lower I started using them as a way of delivering my photography image files to my clients. I have used on line file transferring services and still do for quick turn arounds, but with many consumers and companies the storage limitations and other issues on how to download files can cause problems and frustration. Since flash drives are just mini hard drives and very similar to CDs/DVDs (which are rapidly fading away) most everyone is comfortable using them. So having a flash drive as a delivery item has worked out to be a great solution. Now its has gotten even better because I found USB Memory Direct.

USB Memory Direct offers a ton of different options that can make customization of USB drives very unique.  They say branding is everything, so I opted for something that reflected my brand and since I have 3 I wanted something that would work for all of them. I decided upon the Tower wood style and my initials logo to keep it simple. However, they have many other wood and metal and leather and wow the list goes on styles to choose from. That is the cool part of their service is that they can practically make anything you want. If you have ever been to a trade show you may have seen a large company handing out similar items for marketing and promotion and now us smaller guys can do the same thing without ordering 10,000 items.

Again for my choice, I loved the rustic look which is  why I chose the wooden drive for my own customized USB drive.  I really like how my white engraved logo on it, but you can also get colors if you want. With my style the cap on the drive snaps together with a magnet. The quality seems strong enough to ensure a good grip between the USB and the caps I don’t have to worry about it falling off and losing it.

I’m so glad I decided to get these USB drives and not generic ones.  I enjoy the thought of delivering a product for my clients to hold and feel.  I want my clients to see and feel that personal touch and its easy to see at a glance who it is from and what is probably on it. Not to mention, a USB provides one extra sense of security for storing your photos just in case something happens – like a hard-drive failure. ( Don’t worry, I always keep my client images safely backed up in 3 separate locations should the unthinkable happen.) It really adds another level of professionalism to my business, and that’s very important in todays competitive market.

If you’re in the market for custom usb drives I’d highly recommend USB MEMORY DIRECT. I’ve had a great experience working with them. Their standards seems top notch, as is their service. I personally love the wooden drives with the magnetic cap, but they have loads of options (including making custom shapes) to choose. I found that the drives work great, offers a product that helps reflect my brand, and doesn’t break the bank.
